Why work for Jaks : At Jaks Hair & Beauty we pride ourselves on our training and development of all our staff.  We are a 365 salon, which is passionate about supporting our staff to be the best they can be! Looking at each staff member as an individual and helping them to grow. With a combination of regular one to one’s and great friendly and supportive team the sky’s the limit.

Training: The salon closes for 4 hours per week for staff training, where we have a mixture of in house training with GHD, Paul Mitchell, Dermalogica, St Tropez, Jessica, 365 as well as model nights with our senior staff.

Staff are also sent out of the salon for training, these are decided on an individual basis of where you need it most. We are very lucky that we have a wide range of courses available with Paul Mitchell, Jessica, Dermalogica and St Tropez. Staff are not restricted to their specialist area’s and we have hairdressers who are now qualified in St Tropez Tanning and attend retail courses in beauty and the same for our beauty team giving you a great insight into the whole industry you work in and maximizing your commission potential.

Hours: At Jaks we are only open 5 days a week. We are closed every Sunday and Monday ensuring you get a 2 days off together every week. Full time staff are expected to work a 39 hour week over either 4 or 5 days.  

Staff  Perks: You get  your hair cuts and colours free, and a beauty treatment voucher once a month to keep you looking and feeling great!

Your product purchases from the salon are cost price giving you a heavy discount!

You are also given an extra days holiday a year for your birthday!

Wages: We are known for our highly competitive commission structure, bonuses and staff incentive schemes.
